Woolly’s Birthday Celebration – February 25
Woolly’s just a kid at heart and he loves to see other kids out on the slope having a good time on his mountain! For his birthday, we are transforming Canyon Lodge into a playground for children with plenty of indoor and outdoor fun. We’ll even help Woolly blow out his candles on a cake fit for a Mammoth! Activities will take place from 11am to 3pm, check out the schedule below:

Sprint U.S. Grand Prix – February 29 – March 3
The U.S. Grand Prix wraps up the 2012 tour at the award-winning Unbound terrain parks at Mammoth Mountain. Come see your favorite professional skiers and snowboarders go for the gold in pipe and slope! This event attracts top tier talent from all over the globe, earning it a five-star TTR ranking for the snowboarding event, and World Cup status for the skiers! Beacon Basin – February 25
Join our talented Ski Patrol team for a free two hour transceiver clinic in Beacon Basin! Clinics will run from 9am - 11am every Saturday (weather permitting). The beacon park is located at the bottom of St Moritz (skiers right, near Jill’s run). Ski Patrol will be on site to answer questions about beacons, probing and shoveling techniques. All participants will need to supply their own avalanche gear, but anyone is welcome to observe.
“Lend Me A Tenor” - February 23 – 26
Mammoth Lakes Foundation presents “Lend Me a Tenor”, a door-slamming, dress-dropping farce with mistaken identities, mischievous misunderstandings and compromising positions! A comedy farce not to be missed! Thursday - Saturday at 7pm and Sundays at 4pm. Admission is $20.00 and $18.00 for students and seniors. Edison Theatre is located at 100 College Parkway.
Kids Night Out at Woolly’s Forest Child Care
Drop the kids of and get some extra Mom & Dad time to relax, shop and dine! Kids can enjoy Wii tournaments, creating crafts and indoor play time with our qualified caregivers at Woolly’s Forest in The Village at Mammoth. Woolly’s Adventure Summit Tube Park
Woolly’s newest adventure is the place to be! Bring your friends and family for a slide in the tube park! Located on Minaret Road between The Village and Main Lodge, Woolly’s Adventure Summit is open daily at 10am. Mammoth Shuttle Service is available to and from Woolly’s Adventure Summit Tube Park. The Red Line bus will make stops every 15 minutes daily from 7am to 5pm, along with the evening Hospitality Shuttle making stops for any après tubers.
Mammoth Ice Skating Rink
The rink is an outdoor facility offering public skating sessions, hockey clinics, pick-up hockey, lessons and special events. Amenities include skate sharpening, skate rentals and snack and beverage services. Kids 4 and under must skate with an adult and children 10 and under must be supervised at all times.
